Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat is a typical boudoir session like at The House of Boudoir? Every session is unique because every woman is unique. We begin with a relaxed ice-breaker chat (online or in person) where we talk about your vision, boundaries, what makes you feel beautiful, and any ideas or fantasies you’d like to explore. This is the most important step — it helps us see if we click and feel comfortable working together.
On the day of the shoot, we take our time. You’ll have complete privacy. I’ll guide you gently with soft direction if needed, but I mostly observe and capture you naturally. The atmosphere is calm, warm, and respectful — never rushed or clinical. Many women say the nerves disappear within the first 10–15 minutes once they realise how safe and supported they feel.
Do I need photography experience? Not at all. The majority of my clients are doing this for the first time. Whether you’ve never been photographed professionally or you’re a seasoned model/creator, I tailor the session to your comfort level. No posing experience required — I help you feel natural and confident.
What should I wear? Whatever makes you feel good! Popular choices include lingerie, robes, oversized shirts, cosy sweaters, elegant dresses, or even just a favourite piece of jewellery. I also have a collection of veils, fabrics, silk sheets, and props you’re welcome to use. Feel free to bring several options — we can mix and match during the session.
Where do the sessions take place? My home is my studio. One bedroom is dedicated to boudoir and can be transformed with different lighting, curtains, bed linens, and props to match your desired mood. Many clients find the home environment cosy and intimate.
For clients visiting Cairns (especially from the adult industry), we can also shoot in your hotel room. A single hotel suite can easily provide 4–5 different looks and setups.
How long does a session last? Most sessions last 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the package and how many outfits/changes you want. The ice-breaker chat is usually 45–60 minutes if we haven’t met before.
Is the studio private? Yes — 100% private. Only you and I are present during the session. Your images are never shared without your explicit permission.
What about privacy and confidentiality? Your privacy is my top priority. All images are kept completely confidential. I never post anything without your written consent. For adult industry clients, I’m especially mindful of protecting your brand and identity.
Can we create video content as well? Yes. During photo sessions I can capture short, sensual video clips. For more elaborate needs, I can set up multiple cameras and deliver professionally edited videos. Blurred promotional samples are also available to help you promote full videos or packages.
Do you work with adult industry creators? Absolutely. I have regular, respectful collaborations with performers and OnlyFans creators. We usually schedule shoots every 6–8 weeks when you’re in Cairns, with online editing support between visits. Long-term collaborations are preferred as they allow us to build trust and create better content together.
What if I’m nervous? Completely normal — and very common! I’m often a little nervous too at the beginning. The ice-breaker chat is designed to ease those nerves. Most women tell me they feel relaxed and even excited within the first 15 minutes.
Can I bring someone with me? For standard boudoir sessions, I recommend coming alone so you can fully relax and focus on yourself. However, if you feel more comfortable with a trusted friend or partner present, we can discuss it during the ice-breaker.

Is there a cancellation policy? Yes. I ask for as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule. Last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours) are difficult because I prepare the space and dedicate the time specifically for you. Unpredictable situations are always understood with kindness.
